Take a Look Inside the All New 2020 Mazda CX-9

2020 is approaching quicker than we realize. With a new year, comes new model years. Here’s an inside look into what you’ll be seeing with the new 2020 Mazda CX-9. 

Overall, the CX-9 will now not only come standard with i-ACTIVSENSE and G-Vectoring Control (GCV) technologies/GCV Plus, but will also give you the option of choosing the well-known 7 seater SUV OR the 6 seater SUV with captain’s chairs instead, that allows for easy access to the back row. 

Let’s break it down… 

Here are just SOME of the changes… 

One of the bigger changes for all trim levels on the 2020 CX-9 is that Mazda is adding 10 lb-ft torque so the engine makes 320 lb-ft of torque on 93 octane. There will also be Off-Road Traction Assist on AWD, GVC Plus, improvements with Advanced Smart City Brake Support, and a new key fob design. 

Some of the major additions to this already incredible vehicle, include, but are not limited to, major upgrades on the Sport trim. The Sport trim will now come standard with quite a few safety features that we’ve seen on other trims. This base model will now have Lane Departure Warning / Lane Keep Assist, Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go, power driver’s seat, Smart Brake Support with Collision Warning, and more. 

Glancing at the 2020 Mazda CX-9 Touring, we’ll see a 9-inch full-color touch-screen display and Power Slide & Tilt 2nd-Row bench seat with one-touch-walk-in-switch. If you get the Touring Premium Package, you will find (2) 3rd-Row USB outlets. 

The Grand Touring will now also include (2) 3rd row USB outlets, 20-inch alloy wheels with a new color – Brilliant Silver, and the hands-free power liftgate. 

Finally, the Signature… As stated above, this trim level will now give you the option of taking out a seat and having 2nd-Row Captain Seats with a center console. There will also be the addition of decoration to the glove box lid, 20-inch alloy wheels with a new color – Dark Silver, two new interior colors – Deep Chestnut and Parchment, and a Soul Red Metallic exterior option. 

With this new addition of the Captain’s Chairs, you will also be able to get them with the Touring Premium Package and the Grand Touring. These will come with armrests and center walk-through.
